On the Atlantic coast in the southern half of Finistere, not far from Quimper, just outside of a picture post card village called Locronan, which was voted one of France most picturesque village in 2018.
This property is set at the end of a lane, surrounded by fields, but just a couple of miles from the village. It comprises of a main house which is a modern style barn conversion, a 1970s house, a Breton longère converted into two separate lodgings and a large "barn" building, all set in over 28 acres with a stream running across it, AND only 5 miles from the coast. I wouldn't say it has sea views, but you can see where the sea is so to speak!
The main house is a barn conversion with a large modern extension added to it, in the barn itself you have an entrance hall, a toilet and a large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with a vaulted ceiling and a mezzanine area above. Following on from this is the modern extension that offers you three bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower room and a back kitchen, there is also a garage adjoining this house with direct access to the entrance hall.
The second house was built in the 1970's and offers kitchen with pantry, lounge, dining room, 4 bedrooms a bathroom and a toilet.
The third building is a Breton longère and is divided into two separate dwellings, both with their own private parking areas and gardens. The smaller of the two offers a kitchen, lounge/diner, bathroom, toilet and two bedrooms. The second is a similar setup but has three bedrooms
The "Barn" was in fact an old raised intensive farming unit, but which was removed to leave just the foundations, at one end of this the present owners have built a meeting hall, which would make a great studio for painting, woodworking, yoga, or whatever takes your fancy. The rest of the foundations make a large enclosed garden area which I would either put a pool in, or use as a vegetable garden, or why not even an archery enclosure!
The land is one single block of land at the bottom of a shallow valley with a stream crossing it with a small pond. Nice garden directly around the houses and each unit has its own tarmac parking area.
