Set in a hamlet in the countryside of Saint Thelo, 15mn north west of Loudeac, is this extensive group of character buildings including a 17th century manor house, all of which conserve lots of the original features. All this set on over an acre of grounds.
The manor house itself dates back to around 1750 and is liveable in a simplistic way but could become a really nice (and unusual) character home. Inside there are tonnes of features from stone slab floors, original staircase, several rooms with the original wooden panels which are still in good condition for their age, semi-hidden rooms, quirky knocks and crannies, slate sink, stone stairs in walls, etc, etc.
Outside and to the rear of the manor house are three large barns that form a courtyard area. Then to one side, separated from the first lot from another large barn is another courtyard area with old stone longère, the old stone pig houses and the bakers barn with built in bread oven.
An amazing group of buildings, oozing with to character and which could become a glorious home or holiday complex.
One advantage at St. Thelo, is that it is one of the very first rural communes in France to have 100% fibreoptic coverage!!
